This year represents the 50th anniversary of the Cronulla RSL Youth Club. The Youth Club has changed a lot since it was started by the Sub-Branch 50 years ago. The many thousands who have benefited by their involvement with Cronulla RSL Youth Club owe the pioneers of our club a debt of gratitude.
Initially the activities were restricted to outdoor sports. With the acquisition of a hall in Gerrale St and subsequently the completion of the Youth Club premises at Gunnamatta Bay, activities were more evenly split between indoor and outdoor pursuits. Today, with the Council in control of the Gunnamatta facilities the Youth Club is limited to supporting 4 outdoor sports - Hockey, Netball, Soccer and Softball.
With the continued support of the RSL movement and the local Community, the Youth Club can look to the future with confidence.
